Pattaya City Hall Meets with Rotary Institute Committee

Pattaya City Leaders Meet Rotary Institute Organizing Committee Ahead of Major 2026 Event

Preparations are continuing for the 2026 Pattaya Rotary Institute, one of the largest Rotary gatherings to be hosted in Pattaya this year.

On Tuesday, 4 August 2026, members of the Institute Organizing Committee visited Pattaya City Hall for an official meeting with Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, Deputy Mayor Damrongkieat Pinijkarn, and representatives of the Pattaya City administration.

The meeting was arranged to strengthen cooperation between Rotary and Pattaya City and to discuss public sector support for the upcoming Institute.

Local Organizing Committee member Past President Niels Colov, who serves as Hospitality and Security Chairman, accompanied Institute Convenor RID Jenifer Scott, Organizing Chairman Jason Lim, and other members of the committee to meet the city leadership.

The discussions focused on coordination and support for the Institute, which will bring a large number of Rotarians and Rotary leaders to Pattaya and place the city at the centre of an important international Rotary gathering.

Events of this scale require close cooperation between organizers and local authorities, particularly in areas such as hospitality, security, transportation, logistics and coordination across the city. The meeting at Pattaya City Hall therefore represented an important step in the ongoing preparations.

The 2026 Pattaya Rotary Institute is expected to be a significant occasion for Rotary in the region and an opportunity to welcome Rotarians from many countries to Pattaya while strengthening the relationship between Rotary and the local community.

The Rotary Club of Pattaya is pleased to see preparations progressing and Pattaya City actively involved in supporting what promises to be an important and memorable Rotary gathering later this year.
