The Rotary Club of Pattaya is proud to have participated in a meaningful and impactful visit to Hua Hin, supporting both healthcare advancement and inter club cooperation.

Our club was honored to be among the contributing Rotary Clubs supporting a major donation of advanced anaesthesia technology to Hua Hin Hospital, a project organized and initiated by the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin. The donated anaesthesia machine has a total value of 2.55 million baht and represents a significant improvement in medical capability for the hospital and the wider Hua Hin community.

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Pattaya, Immediate Past President Jan Lund attended the official handover ceremony at Hua Hin Hospital. The event was attended by approximately 70 guests, including the Mayor of Hua Hin, senior hospital management and medical staff, as well as representatives from more than a dozen Rotary Clubs from the region. The strong turnout highlighted the importance of the project and the shared Rotary commitment to improving local healthcare services.

Later the same evening, the Rotary Club of Pattaya and the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin formally signed a Friendship Club Agreement during a wonderful full house poolside evening event held at the Rest Detail Hotel beachfront. The atmosphere was warm and collegial, reflecting the strong bonds of fellowship and shared values between the two clubs.

This anaesthesia project marks the beginning of a concrete and pragmatic collaboration between the two clubs, with a shared vision of raising and donating funds to initiatives that create tangible benefits for local communities. The handover of this important new partnership was formally endorsed by Jan Lund and the President of the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, Brian Anderson, symbolizing a strong foundation for future joint projects.
