Rotarian Michael Tiller has died

Rotarian Michael Tiller - May his soul find peace.

It is with great sadness that I inform you all that our member, Michael Tiller, has died.

Despite fighting with all kinds of illnesses, he attended our meetings whenever possible.

Michael passed away last night at Bangkok Hospital. He was hospitalized last week with severe pneumonia and breathing problems.

That developed into serious internal organ failures because of his general condition. For those of you who did not know: Michael was a victim of a massive scandal in the British health system, where tens of thousands of patients at British hospitals were injected with contaminated blood.

Before that, he was a young, talented, and entrepreneurial radio man and businessman.

He continued as best he could despite being severely handicapped after almost losing his life because of the dirty blood.

He was still in charge of a local radio station connected to a chain of British radio stations and involved in bars and resorts in the Pattaya area when his internal organs gave up.

Michael was the kindest and nicest person you could meet. Despite his hard destiny, he kept a positive attitude and will be deeply missed by his many friends.

Our Secretary Niels Colov visited Michael last week at the Hospital, and we will, of course, keep you updated about wakes and the funeral.

May his soul find peace.
